My Pivot to Real Estate with My Second Substack Newsletter
Here I talk about anything to do with real estate in Hawaii
I never thought this day would arrive. I retired from teaching after a 27-year career in education. I spent all 27 years in the classroom. The motivation for creating my second Substack newsletter is that I’ll be returning to the real estate industry as a real estate agent in my home state.
I was in my fourth year of teaching when I got my real estate license. However, I soon realized the demands of being a new teacher and running a real estate business were too much for me at the time.
However, I managed to purchase my condominium unit around the same time due to my interest in real estate. I eventually gave up my real estate license to concentrate on teaching.
I always wanted to return to real estate, but didn’t know when.
Here I am back in the real estate business.
I’m still waiting for the final paperwork from the state, so I haven’t started yet, but I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself.
My name is Don Sabado. I’m a recently retired high school mathematics teacher and soon-to-be full-time real estate agent.
I chose Substack as a platform to write about real estate because it has given me more than I could have imagined.
